CapCut Pro is the paid tier of CapCut, the video editor from ByteDance. The free version covers most basic editing, so the real question is whether Pro is worth it for you — and how to pay the least for it. Here is what our editorial team confirmed.
Is there a CapCut Pro coupon code?
Straight answer: CapCut does not run a public promo-code system the way most SaaS tools do. Any site advertising a “secret CapCut code” is usually recycling a dead code to farm clicks. The genuine savings come from three places instead:
- Annual billing. Paying yearly costs meaningfully less per month than paying monthly. This is the single biggest saving available.
- The free tier. Basic trimming, captions and templates are free with no card required. Many users never actually need Pro.
- Regional pricing. CapCut prices differ by country and by platform (iOS, Android, desktop and web are billed separately).

If you edit occasionally for personal social posts, the free tier is genuinely sufficient — start there. Pro earns its cost if you are publishing regularly, need watermark-free commercial exports, or lean on the AI captioning and background removal. If you are unsure, use the free tier for a couple of weeks and see which locked feature you actually keep hitting.
One thing to watch
Subscriptions bought through the iOS or Android app are billed by Apple or Google, and mobile store pricing is sometimes higher than subscribing on desktop or web. Check both before committing. Cancel through whichever store you subscribed with — not through CapCut — or the renewal will still run.
